Importance of Temples

All through my life I’ve known the importance of temples. I’ve known they are necessary to obtain our own endowments and seal us to our families for eternity. I also know they are important so we can perform earthly ordinances for our departed ancestors. These truths are taught to members of the church from the time they are little and throughout the rest of their lives. I have a testimony of this but wondered why it was so difficult to go.
