When we were children we were innocent, and knew that our Father in Heaven heard our prayers. As adults, we sometimes forget to trust him, but when we do, we remember, best put illustrated in the phrase which gave peace to Joseph Smith in Liberty Jail.

The Son of Man hath descended below them all

Every Breath

His hands are
Catching your tears
And even without any words
He hears
You feel so far
But Hes right where you are
And He knows

Chorus:
Every breath
Every pain
He knows your heart and
He knows your name
The Giver of life
Light in your soul
Oh come home
Come rest
Let him bless
Your every breath

Silence your voice and be still
And even without any words
You will feel
You think youre far
Be He lives in your heart
And He knows

Theres nowhere you can go
That He hasnt been below

For more information about Jesus Christ, go to www.mormon.org The Standard of Truth tag:ldsonline.ning.com,2009-09-28:2078394:Video:5531 2009-09-28T00:49:15.531Z LDS Principles (Mike Ballard)

The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the tr…

The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done (History of the Church, 4:540).
Nearly 18 decades have passed since the organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1830. We have had 178 years to observe the fulfillment of prophecy and to watch the truth of God as it goes forth boldly, nobly, and independent.
Our testimonies must run deep, with spiritual roots firmly embedded in the rock of revelation. And we must continue to move the work forward as a covenanted, consecrated people, with faith in every footstep, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done. That it may be so for us is my humble prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. This song about mothers was especially touching for both of us.

It made me think of my other two children, and I was reminded of the powerful force for good mothers can be. I know my own mother was just that for myself and my brothers and sisters

Our Hopes, our dreams, and much of the good we have done in this life has been influenced in large part by our mothers; whether they are in the home or working part of their time outside the home, their influence is still felt. This is especially true about teaching us how to live principles of the Gospel.

I did this because I wanted to honor the mothers in my life, and though it cannot match any sort of influence they have had, I hope it captures my gratitude, and also hope it does for you.

I put pictures of the Savior with his mother in it, because it represents the ability to influence a mother can have. Children are a blessing from God, but even more is the blessing our mothers are.

God could not be everywhere [physically], and so He gave us mothers. -unknown

even the Savior of the world
Needs a mother, too Lyndsi Houskeeper, No Greater Joy

For more information about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, go to http://www.mormon.org From Cumorah's Hill - The Book of Mormon tag:ldsonline.ning.com,2009-09-26:2078394:Video:5514 2009-09-26T20:19:15.514Z LDS Principles (Mike Ballard)

To request a free copy of the Book of Mormon go to http://www.mormon.org , and click on "Free Media." I testify that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God, that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. I testify that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet, a modern apostle with the keys of the kingdom in his hands, a man upon whom I personally have seen the mantle fall. I testify that the presence of such authorized, prophetic voices and ongoing canonized revelations have been at the heart of the Christian message whenever the authorized ministry of Christ has been on the earth. I testify that such a ministry is on the earth again, and it is found in this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

- Jeffrey R. Holland, "My Words . . .
